AHA Hyperbarics is made up of different legal entities. This privacy notice is issued on behalf of the AHA Hyperbarics group of companies so when we mention “AHA Hyperbarics”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice, we are referring to the relevant company in the AHA Hyperbarics Group responsible for processing your data. The applicable Terms of Service or License Agreement you enter into with AHA Hyperbarics will govern which AHA Hyperbarics company is the controller of your data.

When we refer to Sites, we mean www.aha-hyperbarics.com and other Sites from AHA Hyperbarics or its affiliates and partner companies.

When we refer to Services, we mean all services regarding support, aftersales, training, education purposes and similar, as offered from AHA Hyperbarics or its affiliates and partner companies.

When we refer to Promotions, we mean promotional messages and personalized advertising, notifications about products and other promotions.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

As a visitor to the Sites, you can engage in many activities without providing any Personal Information.

  • When you communicate with us or sign up for newsletters or promotional materials or send us an inquiry.

  • Contact form

On our Sites there is a contact form which can be used for electronic inquiries. If you use this option, the data entered in the input template will be transmitted to us and saved.

The data will be processed to enable us to contact you, to process your request, to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. For the personal data from the input template of the contact form, this is the case when the communication with you has ended. The communication is terminated when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the situation in question has been finally resolved.

Should a contract be concluded, the data will be stored until the end of the statutory retention periods (6 years after the end of the year in which the contract was terminated) and then deleted, unless we are obliged to store it for a longer period due to tax and commercial law storage and documentation obligations or you have consented to further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 point a GDPR.

  • When you engage with our online communities or advertising.

We may collect your Personal Data when you engage with our online communities. This includes when you click on advertisements, interact with our social media pages, submit content, leave comment, or otherwise enter information into comment fields, blogs.

  • When we leverage and/or collect cookies, device IDs, geolocation, data from the environment, and other tracking technologies.

We may collect certain Personal Data using cookies and other technologies such as web beacons, device IDs, advertising IDs, geolocation, HTML5 local storage, Flash cookies, and IP addresses. We specifically use browser cookies for different purposes, including cookies that are strictly necessary for functionality, performance/analytics, and advertising. However, when you apply to AHA Hyperbarics newsletter or send us an inquiry to order products or services, we may collect the following Personal Information from you:

  • Contact information such as your name, phone number, address and email address; and
  • Demographic information such as your job title, and company name and company type;

Why do we gather such information?

We gather information about job title, company name and company type to address your needs better and prepare corresponding proposal. Your personal data improves our services.

As is true of most websites, when you use the Sites, AHA Hyperbarics or third party subprocessors contracted by AHA Hyperbarics may also collect certain technical and routing information about your computer to facilitate your use of the Sites and its services. For example, we may log environmental variables, such as browser type, operating system, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. We use these environmental variables to facilitate and track your use of the Sites and its services. AHA Hyperbarics also uses such environmental variables to measure traffic patterns on the Sites. AHA Hyperbarics collects your information in order to provide services to you, comply with our legal obligations, and to improve our products and services. We do not sell, rent or share your personally identifiable information to or with third parties in any way other than as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. AHA Hyperbarics may use this information to:

Complaints, comments and infringement

For complaints, comments or the identification of content that infringes any law or infringes the (intellectual property) rights of third parties, please e-mail us. AHA Hyperbarics is not liable for this content. It reserves the right, if it sees reason to do so, either or not in response to a report, to remove certain content from the websites and keep it removed.

If AHA Hyperbarics considers that a user of the Sites is not acting in accordance with the law and / or the General Terms of Use and / or Privacy Policy, or otherwise makes unreasonable use of the Sites, then it is authorized to take, among others, the following measures:

  • the corresponding user may be excluded from the services of AHA Hyperbarics or specific functionalities for this user may be limited, including – although not exclusively – suspension of the account of the user concerned, deleting transactions, limiting the use of the websites;
  • the personal data of those involved can be processed. If there is a reason to do so, AHA Hyperbarics can, within the limits of the law, hand over the personal data of those involved, for example, to the police.
