AHA Hyperbarics - History

Our AHA moment happened out of the blue

AHA Hyperbarics was born from the deep waters of scuba diving, where Peter & Tina Kokalj’s decades-long careers in scuba diving, engineering, and electronics converged. With a rich history as professional diving instructors and instructor trainers, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, they managed a dive center that offered training, equipment, and expeditions.

Through these years, a profound respect for water and oxygen, coupled with an understanding of underwater physics, led to a natural extension: hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Recognizing the health benefits of diving, they promoted its healing potential and witnessed remarkable improvements in their clients’ well-being following regular diving lessons. This journey laid the foundation for AHA Hyperbarics’ commitment to innovation and excellence in hyperbaric technology.

AHA Hyperbrics Team

We went to great depths to bring the medical truth to the surface.

When we set out to build inflatable hyperbaric chambers certified as medical devices, we were on a mission to test the technology to its limits in all possible scenarios to reach safety standards for therapeutic efficiency. After numerous testing and professional reviews, our hyperbaric chambers are certified for use as medical devices to reach new dimensions in the field of hyperbaric medicine.

Peter’s idea to build HBOT technology, also his extensive background in electronics and engineering has led us to innovate in the design and construction of inflatable and highly portable hyperbaric chambers.
