AHA Hyperbarics will be exhibiting on HBOT2018, from 10th to 11th August in Denver, Colorado. HBOT2018 is the biggest international conference about hyperbaric medicine organized by International Hyperbaric Medical Association (IHMA).

The mission of the International Hyperbaric Medical Association (IHMA) is to improve public health by implementing high ethical and scientific standards for hyperbaric medicine; promoting sound hyperbaric research and treatment protocols; educating the medical community, the general public, decision makers and policy … The Association brings together people, companies, centers and all others that know why healing with oxygen can benefit all in need. More about the event here.

Each year IHMA organizes the highly educational hyperbaric conference dedicated to hyperbaric medicine, to better inform its members and healthcare professionals globally.

This year’s theme of the 12th International Symposium for Hyperbaric Medicine will be Advancing Hyperbaric Medicine Globally in the 21st Century. The conference will be held from 10th to 12th August in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Topics to be covered this year will include:

  • HBOT and Adult Neurological Disorders – Parkinson’s, TBI, PTSD and Concussions
  • HBOT and Regenerative and Reversing Anti-Aging
  • HBOT and Pre-surgical conditioning, Plastic Surgery and Prevention
  • HBOT and Pediatric Care: Anoxic Brain Insults and Injuries and Autism.
  • HBOT and Chronic Infectious Diseases
  • HBOT and Genomic Influences on Metabolomics
  • HBOT and Addiction and Pain Management

There will be a lot of eminent speakers and interesting topics . The keynote speakers, Dr. Paul Harch and Dr. Edward Fogarty will outline Dr. Harch’s case presentations on Alzheimer’s. They focus of their presentation is to better understand that neurodegenerative diseases result from a combination of genetic factors and cumulative environmental factors that generate central nervous system inflammation and wounding, and also to understand the positive and negative literature on HBOT in a variety of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopment diseases and the effects of HBOT on inflammation.

Dr. Alan Katz will be talking about hyperbaric oxygen therapy as key management tool for brain repair when integrated into a comprehensive concussion recovery program. Edward Arenson, M.D. will be presenting Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy as treatment for radiation injury to bone and soft tissues; A novel application and future implications.

As he stipulated, he would like us to “realize that HBOT is an effective and approved treatment for radiation injury to bone and soft tissue through its ability to induce neo-angiogenesis in tissues rendered ischemic (not necrotic) by radiation therapy; that HBOT is not only effective in osteoradionecrosis of the jaw and radiation injury to pelvic organs, but also is effective in radiation vascular injury to brain;  that the benefit of HBOT on brain tumor survivors is through its amelioration of small vessel depletion which can be demonstrated best by color perfusion MRI imaging; that rather than just slowing or arresting progressive decline, HBOT actually improves neurological function in most treated patients.”

Among exhibitors you can find AHA Hyperbarics this year as well. In 2017 we introduced our AHA Flex chambers on the USA market and we will be exhibiting our products and accessories this year also. You can meet us on booth no. 9, from 10th to 12th August. Please contact us soonest as possible for meeting arrangements via info.usa@aha-hyperbarics.com.
